Kenneth
Fisher's Biography Kenneth began his career in woodworking and sculpture in 1974 while working towards his undergraduate biology degree in Indiana. He went on to receive an MFA degree in Furniture Design from Rhode Island School of Design under Tage Frid in 1980.
Since then, Kenneth has been an independent craftsman, restoring valuable seventeenth thru nineteenth century European furniture along with designing and fabricating custom furniture and sculpture for clients internationally.
The opportunity to work on period furniture gave Kenneth a unique perspective on the craftsmanship that enabled these pieces to maintain their structural, functional, and aesthetic integrity over time. Kenneth strives to make all of his designs approachable and sensual to the eye and touch.
Kenneth currently works in both North America and Western Europe.
